Anna
Anna Avetova – Ukrainian art manager, curator, and founder of the Tuasho art agency (since 2016).
She has been working as a creative director at Mironova Gallery and Kyiv City Gallery Lavra, implementing a number of successful projects, e.g. 'Environment of Existence Manifesto' in partnership with WWF Ukraine, 'Memory Inversion', ‘Verbalization’ and others. These art shows brought together most prominent modern Ukrainian painters, sculptors, photographers, and street artists. The important part in her work is a direct attitude to the figures - it is the verification and implementation of modern and transparent rules instead of modifications of the participants of the art sphere. Documenting and approving contractual obligations, the rules of positioning the artist and the disclosure of individual strategy, which allows the artist to adapt to the processes taking place around him. This profession method originated from the lack of information, and the legal background allowed us to respond properly to the shortcomings of the system and start building our own. Using, first of all, inquiries from artists, experience gained in projects, fairs and galleries, Anna, as a manager, has clearly formulated the scope of her competencies, and works for the development of Ukrainian art.
In her curatorial practices, she closely interacts with the environmental issues, emotional freedom, interdisciplinary cooperation, language and communication problems etc. Her other essential projects include the D12 group exhibition within the Creative Ukraine Forum, series of personal artists' exhibitions at the barocco-styled Kyiv art centre, performances, open air art shows, VR and museum exhibitions.

An important area of her activities is searching for and implementing modern and transparent rules of interaction between participants in the art sphere. Documentation and implementation of contractual obligations, careful positioning of the artist and development of an individual strategy that allows the artist to adapt to the processes around him. Such a professional guideline appeared due to the lack of information. Her legal background allowed her to appropriatelyly respond to the system's flaws and start building her own.
Using, first of all, inquiries from artists, and experience gained in projects, fairs, and galleries, Anna as a manager, has clearly formulated the scope of her competencies and works for the development of Ukrainian art.
