About TUASHOArt Strategy & Development

Where art strategy becomes action

TUASHO is an art strategy and development consultancy working across the international art world.

We advise artists, collectors, art businesses and cultural organisations at critical moments of transition — from professional repositioning and collection development to business transformation, market entry and the launch of new cultural projects.

Our method — SCAN → RECODE → ACTIVATE — combines strategic analysis with hands-on development. We identify what holds the greatest value, define the right direction and build the structures, materials, partnerships and actions required to move forward.

Founder

Anna Avetova

Founder & Strategic Director

Anna Avetova is a Ukrainian art strategist, curator and cultural entrepreneur working internationally. She is the Founder and Strategic Director of TUASHO, an art strategy and development consultancy, and Director of ART KYIV, one of Ukraine’s leading contemporary art fairs.

With more than a decade of experience, Anna works at the intersection of contemporary art, strategic development and cultural entrepreneurship. She advises artists, collectors, art businesses, institutions and brands at critical moments of transition — from professional repositioning and market entry to organisational development and the launch of new cultural projects.

Her approach combines curatorial intelligence, legal training and entrepreneurial thinking. Anna develops clear positioning, viable structures and long-term strategies, then translates them into partnerships, programmes and real-world action. Her work is grounded in the belief that artistic value needs more than visibility: it requires the right context, infrastructure and direction to grow.

Selected international projects

Throughout her career, Anna has developed major exhibitions and institutional projects. Her international curatorial portfolio includes the Ukrainian Pavilion at EXPO 2020 Dubai, Rozhostysia at Kühlhaus Berlin, Procrastination Bed in New York and Survival Rituals in Basel.

A decade in the international art world

Founded in 2016, TUASHO has spent a decade turning artistic and cultural potential into viable projects, stronger organisations and new market opportunities.

Across more than 50 mandates, we have launched and repositioned art businesses, developed artists and collections, created cultural programmes and guided projects into new international markets.

Our work has taken us across Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Switzerland, Germany and beyond — from private strategic assignments to exhibitions, art fairs and large-scale cultural initiatives.

We have participated in more than 10 international art fairs, facilitated relationships between artists, galleries and collectors, and helped artworks enter private and institutional collections across different markets.

TUASHO is often brought in when established approaches are no longer enough. We develop new ways for art to be positioned, organised, presented and brought to market — combining cultural intelligence with strategic and commercial thinking.

After ten years, our role remains the same: to recognise unrealised potential, build the right structure around it and turn it into something that works in the real world.
