Konstantin Lizogub
– was born in 1985 in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
He graduated from the Kharkiv Academy of Design and Arts, Department of Easel Painting, in 2008. Since 2002 has worked in the studio of E. Bykov in the creative association "Bottega. Member of the Youth Union of Artists of Ukraine. His works were presented at exhibitions in Germany, Italy, and China.
"Painting is a cosmos, the chaos of which has its patterns. The theme and idea dictate my style and technique, not the other way around. I am interested in the clash of opposites: the contradiction of man and nature; the heaviness and lightness of material and form; crisis state and outward tranquility".
